I would avoid any kind of sealant added to the coolant.
As Alastair suggests, speak to Ian.

Re: ns250r gear box ratios
Hi Anne, Love your work, you were great on breakfast telly! What is it you're trying to do? Fit an NSR gearbox into an ND5? Looks like you're short of a lot of bits.. I wasn't aware of there being a 2T 250gp bike prior to the ND5, I thought it was the first. Prior to the ND5 they were diesel. Have y...

Re: Speedo change to mph
Evening Kev,
As far as I remember, yes. Or take the bulb out, or stick a piece of tape over it.
The speed light is just a light. There are no ignition restrictions on the NS, it just wasn't that advanced.
A few home market bikes had a sleeve in the ATAC, but that's easily removed.

I do vaguely remember the build thread starting for this. I've never entered a legal battle out of choice. Truth is, by the time you get to the point of legal proceedings, there will generally be two winners. The legal teams on either side. Sounds like a sad story. Sorry to hear it didn't end well. ...

Hi Nigel,
Yes, it certainly looks much better with the stripes correctly aligned. I'm pretty sure I saw the bike for sale a year or so ago?
Ah, yes. I see you have one or two diesel Hondas, and one is even the pretty version.. I do like the 03-06 model. I have a '93 P.

Part numbers suggest that all the heat shields are specific to the NS400, rather than carried over from the NS250 MC11

If you want an easy fix look for a product called 'Water Wetter' I think it's made by Redline. I've heard of this and had been sceptical, as you were. I may just give it a go. The NS fan is pitiful at best, so I opted for a big rad, which as yet is untested. It's handy to know that the product works

Hi Wurzel, Yes, it's a great forum. Sadly, virtually dead now thanks to Facebook but there's still plenty of good information here. No idea how many there are in South Wales, sorry. There were 48 in total licensed for the road in the UK during 2018, so not many. Mine wasn't one of them.. If it's bee...
