Hi All.....
Just starting to re-commision and mildly restore my Rothmans NS400R after it being neglected at the back of the garage for a couple of years!
Just been on the Bridgestone Tyre website, and they recommend 110/90-16 Front and 120/90-17 Rear, for their BT-45 tyres.
These are a 'width' size up from the standard, and just wondered if anyone has fitted these and what effect if any they have on the handling?
Cheers,

Re: Tyre Sizes
Personally I'd stick with standard. For the power you have, you don't need the extra tyre width.

Re: Tyre Sizes

Welcome to the forum. Don't forget to post some pics of your bike when you get a minute.
I'd agree with Alastair. The standard NS doesn't need anything bigger tyre wise. However, it may be something which is forced on you if Bridgestone have stopped making the standard sizes.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is.
Re: Tyre Sizes
Hi Mark,
Thats the odd thing, Bridgestone do list the standard NS tyre sizes, but then recommend the larger sizes!

Re: Tyre Sizes
This has come up before, something to do with tyre sizes these days and the aspect ratios.

At least the bike is less likely to fall off the side stand.
