im very frustrated. the Tacho and Cylinder keep coming on and off as i ride, and now theyr both completely gone off, no spark. could it be the CDI ? Anyone ?

Can someone please tell me what cylinder is at the bottom right? and in what way is it related to the Tacho ? im very frustrated. the Tacho and Cylinder keep coming on and off as i ride, and now theyr both completely gone off, no spark. could it be the CDI ? Anyone ?

It most likely won't be the CDI. Could be bad wiring in the loom or maybe a bad stator.

im in cape town south Africa. amazingly.....i put a coil from a chinese bike. and it seems to have fixed itself. however, i instaled a fuel filter just below the tank, and when i ride at high RPM, the Tacho goes crazy and cuts out, and the filter runs Dry ! could the filter be the cause ?
