Re: Decals for UK bike

Thanks for letting me know about the decals that you have, Mark. I think that I'll leave it as originally purchased and not put any on.

Re: Seat and rear cowel removal

Thank you!

I just thought that the lock was for the helmet holder. All sorted now.

Re: Decals for UK bike

I did buy Mark's bike. He's a true gentleman and it was a pleasure to meet him and do the deal. I promised him that if I ever sell it, I would offer it back to him first, but my intention is to keep it forever! I've got an RD500 that I've owned for 20+ years and always wanted the Honda. Do you know ...

Seat and rear cowel removal

I've never had one of these bikes before and want to take the rear seat cowel and seat off. I haven't got the manual and can't see how to do this. Can someone help, please.

Is there an owner's manual available?

Decals for UK bike

I've just picked up the bike I've been wanting for years. It's a UK bike that was first registered in 199 having been at the back of a dealership for 12 years, then ridden for 1000 miles and then put in storage for the past 20+ years. It looks as if it's just come out of the crate and I've bought it...

Re: Still looking for a NS400R

I just that I'd post a note to say that I found the bike I've been looking for. I picked it up yesterday and it's a UK spec bike (Rothmans colours but without the Rothmans logos) that was first registered, as new, in 1997, ridden for 1006 miles and then stored for the last 20 years. I bought it from...

Re: Identifying NS400R

Good morning. I'm trying to identify this bike and can't work out if it's a UK bike, Japanese import etc. I've searched loads of images and can't seem to find another one that's identical. Is it missing 'Rothmans' stickers? It's speedo is in MPH. Would anyone be able to help, please? NSR 6.jpg Mark

Uploading an image

Good morning.

I'm trying to identify a particular NS400R and have tried to post an image on the forum. It's on 238Kb; but it says that it's too big. Can you help, please?

Identifying NS400R

Good morning, everyone. I'm having trouble identifying this NS400R. I've looked at so many images on the internet and can't seem to find another one in this exact colour scheme; so can't work out if it's a UK bike or not. Am I missing something (or is the bike?) [/img] - I'm not sure if this image h...

Still looking for a NS400R

Hi everyone. I posted a 'wanted' 'ad' a few months ago and then didn't realised that a couple of people sent me private messages, offering one. I've learnt my lesson and now know how to check for these. I was also distracted by the restoration of my DT400. Anyway; I'm just re-affirming that I'm stil...

Re: Bike wanted

Evening, Chris. I've just seen this reply. I got stuck into my DT400 rebuild and didn't focus on the NS400R; hence the late reply. Sorry. Do you know if them guy who contacted the forum who had a stripped down bike managed to sell it? I'm now actively look again and will visit the forum more often. ...

Re: Bike wanted

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate that I'll have to pay the going price and also have to be patient. The only decent one that I saw out there was on with a dealer for £11k. That seems far too high, to me. I'll keep looking and by joining the forum; I thought it would be another possibility. I suspe...

Bike wanted

Good afternoon everyone. I'm new to this site and thought it might be a good place to ask if anyone knows of a bike that might be for sale. I've owned an RD500 for the past 20+ years and am in the process of restoring a DT400. I've also got an NC30 and a few more modern bikes (R1, R6, GSXR1000, CBR1...
