Re: Clunky gear changes ?

Thank you for that.

I don't remember it doing this when I put it away so I'm going to try a different oil first but then I'll pop the cover off.

Clunky gear changes ?

My bike is noticably clunky when changing into and out of the first 3 gears. Have installed fresh trans oil and cleaned and lubed the clutch cable. Any ideas please folks ?

Re: LH Mirror in black

Thanks for the thought anyway. I'll try to investigate re-glazing this one.

Looks like someone's re-done it in baco foil at the moment!

You can have it for the postage so long as it is a left.
Will try and look for it tomorrow.

Thank you Ian - you're a star!

Re: Choke Issue

When I had this on my RD it was the slow running jets getting blocked. I now use a little REDEX injector clean in my fuel - it's meant for fuel injected petrol engines but it keeps my carb ones running sweetly. In my case it was residue from our modern fuel blocking the slow runners.

Panel fasteners

Any pointers greatfully received as to where I can find replacement dzus fasteners for my fairring panels - mine have gone rusty now and it's not really the look I'm after.

I assumed they were genuine but all I can find on David Silver page is a shouldered chrome screw. ?

Re: Freeing a seized caliper bush

The guy I use is Andy Berryman. His workshop is on the back of The Drome garage at Manston. Andy is a super nice guy - a former Honda technician and is very reasonable.

I left the calipers with him and he popped the bushes out for me - they are back on now with shiny new bits!
