Carol Nash Classic Bike Show - Newark, free tickets!!!

Post by j.shaw » Mon Dec 31, 2018 8:48 pm

Hi Folks,

New Year Special.

I have two e-tickets for the Carol Nash Winter Classic at Newark next weekend.
As I won't be in Birmingham as planned it is an expensive trip from Devon just to go to the show!

First reply gets them in the post FOC.

Jeff

Tis done.....Andy Bolas had his gorgeous NS400 on display but Norbo had managed to pick up an even rarer find, a registed but otherwise new bike with 30 odd miles on the clock, apparently has never been started and the mileage was just from pushing it around over the years...whatever it was on the original tyres and looked as new...

NS400 had done 30 odd miles from new, being pushed about apparently!

My friend started the day by selling his stunning RGV250, new owner went away very happy indeed...as I would have been...

Lovely pictures and worth going then.

A pity a company like Nash has their name on the meeting

Yes mate....It was an enjoyable few hours and unseasonably warm, big plus I got to meet Freddie Spencer again and got him to sign a couple of old MCNs from when he won his first title, I gave him a few of them as well and he was surprisingly (to me !) very pleased to be offered them.

Yes, CN is a major sponsor of UK and international classic shows, i'm sure if the other insurance companies offered more money/better deal, the organisers would soon change sponser! There all a bunch of shysters anyway....
