Very nice project!

What did you do to fit the MC21 carbs to the reedcages? Did you make new carbrubbers?

Really?

I measured up the rubbers on my project, and found that it would be very little rubber left so I made up new ones from TYGA SP150 rubbers. They had the correct diameter, but had to be cut and re angeled to fit the cylinders and airbox. My carbs are MC21 carbs with inside diameter of 36 mm. Is your carbs the same size?

yes my carbs are the same , just measured them 36mm inside 43mm outside , and measured the hole in the rubber and its 42mm for a nice tight fit and 48mm outside

Yes

I used them too. Nice design, they flow much more air too.

finally got round to working on the ns project again in the last few weeks
wired in the new zeeltronic ignition and cdi ,koso digital speedo , fitted oil pump , rad and plumbing ,17" vfr750 wheel and hub
done some fibreglass work on the rear seat unit , to fill in the gap
its all running now , took it for a few runs up the street and back , all seems fine ,
needs some fine tuning and some jetting work , then start thinking about what paint scheme to paint it
