Misty sight glass

Post by alan » Wed May 04, 2016 9:08 am

Hi all
Have a misty gearbox oil sight glass, thought water was getting into gearbox so dropped gear box oil, no water in oil, bike not useing any water and runs great, changed clutch 3 months ago and wondered if this could have anything to do with this issue, any thought on this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks
Alan

Did you wash the cover off and rinse with water?

Probably just condensation.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is.

Hi Mark
Did not use any water to clean up, used brake/ clutch cleaner. Went for spin yesterday and misting not as bad, but weather was warmer, beginning to wonder if it is just condensation, any one else had this?

Thanks
Alan
