Jetting......

Post by Ardon »

As my NS is a jap market import I'm sure that it aint as fast as it should be and perhaps the carbs jetting is Jap land optimised and not properly set up for the UK!!

Does this make any sense??

It seems to run out of puff by 110!

Ian

Have you checked that your ATACS is closing properly? My advice is to take the bottom fairing of, remove the small cover thats hiding the link from the selenoid to the ATAC valve. Check that the link is actuated and closes the valves at 7200 rpm or something. You loose a lot of power if they dont close as they should.

Jetting is different. UK Jetting is in workshop manual. I think you'll find that out of puff at 110 means there is something else holding it back.

Actually Fredrick...............

It's MOT is on wednesday afternoon and I will online the tax that night so Wednesday will see it totally legal.....

But I wont be riding it on Weds because my PTP1 (part time poke) is due in for a service that will take most of the day!!

Thursday I am on business in manchester so I wont ride it then either!!

But friday should be a goer and hopefully my 'missing in transit' tyres will get fitted.

You lot think that Rossi is fast - then u lot obviously have not seen Ardon in action!!!!!!!!!!
