Anyone bought any of these of E bay?

Post by blenheimrider »

Hi All

Long time no visit, but I have been really busy with other projects and have not really had to do much on my NS, but I have been neglecting her for a little too long now and she will be geting a bit of TLC. Looking to refurbish the carbs, and a few other little jobs.

I noticed these on E bay and wondering if anyone has had any experience with the seller?

Let me know if you have any comments, and if the parts are any good

regards

I'd use Ian Wright first. www.classicracereplicas.com He does gasket kits and bits for the carbs.

I'd agree with Alastair.

Ian's kits are pretty thorough. Plus if you do have a problem, he's not across the other side of the world.

I've seen some of cruzinimage's other NS bits, and to be honest, the quality isn't great, so best avoided IMO.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies.

Don't know why I didn't look there myself first (as I said long time away on other projects), I have had very good experience with Ian and he has been very helpful to me in the past.

Just had a look on his site, boy the site has expanded the number of parts now available, great job Ian, keeping the NS's out there on the road.

thanks again guys

I got a set of cheap pistons off that guy on E-bay. They didnt fit, but he was really good about reimbursing me, and very quick to reply to my emails.
He seemed very genuine, but whether or not his parts supplier is......... :)
