Fuel Tap

Post by silverstrom »

Is there a suitable replacement for the NS400R fuel tap? NOS, of course, are non-existent.

Ian Wright has a repair kit on his site

He may also have sourced a compatable fuel tap. Why not give him a call.

Or let me know what you've got to trade for a NOS item

I used one of Ian's kits and the bloody thing is still leaking. It's dripping on the floor. Ian's kit has the large diaphragm, but if the small one goes, as is my case, there is no replacenemt for it. No worries now, I used another one I have and all is well, but I would like to fix the leaky one to have as a back up.

I can't think of anything really... The NOS cupboard is pretty well stocked at the moment.

Horting and halving. Is that someting peculiar to Austria Luggy?

It's taken years to collect the bits I have. I'm not in a hurry to part with anything just yet..

You'll just have to be patient :D

Got the leaky tap fixed by using Ian's kit along with the small diaphragm for a fireblade kit. Glad that's sorted.
