Rear suspension mods

Post by Seacoast69 » Sun Jan 10, 2016 4:05 pm

Wondering what is the most popular mod as far as swapping swing arms. I see a lot of Pro Arm swaps, is this the easiest swap ? I don't find many for sale here in the USA and shipping across the pond is pricey. I have bought a basket case 86 NS400R and I want to build a retro/mod GP style bike from it. I have a 08 CBR600RR front end which should be a fairly easy swap and am in the process of doing 61mm pistons. I don't see much for current activity on here on builds so maybe I'm getting in a little late, but I love 2 stroke street bikes.

61/63mm builds are a lot of work and money and dont have any real advantages,
a good running 57mm will alway be the better way ! ( unless you have stroked it )
gravity is an extreme painful thing !

Is a MC28 rear swingarm different from a RVF400 swingarm ? Are parts interchangeable ?
